Fried Papaya Salad, Trat

I nearly back home in Trat. So I’ve never missed a chance to go to a famous food shop
that is Ms. Nuch Fried Papaya Salad.

If you drive from Chantaburi, you can drive past a bridge and Santung Market that is on the left then turn right at the next junction to Laem Ngop, and go straight.
You will see the food shop on your right.

The most famous menu is fried papaya salad, but the others are also good.

Here is Ms. Nuch; the owner.

I confirm that the taste is really good; salty, sour, sweet, spicy.

Thais usually eat the spicy salad with sticky rice, and she has herbal sticky rice.
The yellow one is made from Turmeric, and the blue one is made from Butterfly Pea.

There are grilled chicken and its entrails.

There are also fried chicken. Thais usually eat the salad with the chicken.
